'Evening of Canticles ' at Defence College Auditorium
A Carols Programme entitled “Evening of Canticles,” presented by the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Air Force was held at the Defence Services School Auditorium today evening (18 December 2015). The event featured Air Force personnel and family members backed by the Air Force Band.
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala, and the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the SLAF, Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala, received the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, the Chief Guest at the event. Guests of Honour included the Right Reverend Dhiloraj R. Canagasabey, Bishop of Colombo.
The members of the Air Force Board of Management, officers, other ranks, children and family members of the service personnel were also present to witness a glamorous and well organized evening of musical entertainment.
Another significant feature during the evening was the participation of 50 children from Bethlehem Creche,Borella to witness the event .
