Under the stewardship of Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala, the SLAF SVU organized a Christmas  Carols Programme at  “Mihindu Seth Madura” on 21 December 2015 to appreciate the differently abled  war heroes who  made great  sacrifices in the name of the motherland.

The event featured Air Force personnel and family members backed by the Air Force Band.

The members of the Seva Vanitha Unit, the Base Commander,SLAF Base Ratmalana Air Commodore PDKT Jayasinghe, officers and other ranks,  were present at this occasion.  Following the carols, the participants, SVU Members and all present joined the inmates for fellowship and a special dinner hosted by the SVU.
