Young Aviators Club - Workshop III concluded at AFM

Air Force Museum recently concluded Workshop III, One-Day programme on ‘Aircraft Engines’ for members of the Young Aviators Club. Students who had completed Workshop I on ‘Aviation Fundamentals’ and Workshop II on ‘Aircraft Landing Gear Systems’ were qualified for this particular one day programme.

Five hundred (500) participants received the rare opportunity of learning about ‘Aircraft Engines’ through preliminary lectures, videos and practical demonstrations. The session ended with a field exercise to test the knowledge they gained through the programme followed by a certificate awarding ceremony.

Sri Lanka Air Force, is the only aerial arm among the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, responsible for defending the nation's airspace and supporting its sister services for all kind of operations.
