12th ‘Guwan Lak Sevana’ House Handed Over
A new house constructed under the "Guwan Lak Sevana” Housing Project launched by the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to 35219 LAC Wijesinghe EGMDN today (15 January 2016) at Yatawatta, Matale.
The house warming ceremony was held under the patronage of Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs.Samanthi Bulathsinghala.
This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing (CEW) at SLAF Base Katunayaka and SLAF Station Sigiriya under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.
Acting Director Welfare Air Commodore KFR Fernando, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sigiriya Group Captain Harsha Jayathilake, Officers and other ranks were also present at the ceremony.
