The History of SLAF Diyatalawa and the Regiment Book Launches
The Book titled
"The history of SLAF Diyatalawa and the Regiment" written by Air vice
Marshal AB Soza(Retd) and Wing Commander SR Rathnapala (Retd) was
launched yesterday (26 Jan 2016).
The Book launching ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala at AFHQ Auditorium with the participation of many retired and serving senior officers including former commanding officers of Sri Lanka Air Force Diyathalawa,officers of other service and distinguished invitees. The first copy of the book was handed over to the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal GaganBulathsinghala by Air vice Marshal AB Soza (Retd).
This unique documentation of the history of SLAF Diyatalawa, which has been the stepping stone for many Officers, Airmen and Airwomen of the Air Force will indeed be much cherished and valued by all those who passed through the gates of “The Cradle of all Air Force Personnel”.
