Administration and Management Development Module for Base Commanders and Commanding Officers

Based on a vision of the Commander of the Air force, an Administration and Management Development Module for Base Commanders and Commanding Officers was conducted at Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay.

The aim of this training module is to develop administrative and Management performance capabilities of Base Commanders and Commanding Officers in the Sri Lanka Air Force to take up challenges in organizational culture and administrative environment.

This module enhances the uniformity amongst command in strategic decision making. Moreover, to enable the Base Commanders and Commanding Officers to carry out their duties and responsibilities in line with laid down procedures and regulations while upholding standards and core values of SLAF.
 
This training session covered a vast subject scope with lectures and fruitful discussions sessions conducted by the relative mentors of the subject area. The first course commenced on 25th January 2016 and was concluded on 27th January 2016. A total of 09 senior officers from all Air Forces Bases and Stations were successfully guided by 08 mentors at different levels and subject areas.
