In order to celebrate the 68th Independence day, SLAF Station Colombo conduct a "Shramadhana" campaign at the "Secretariat" Railway Station Colombo - 02 with the participation of the personnel of SLAF Station Colombo.

Renovation work at the station was done under the supervision of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo Air Commodore MADAP Payoe and the programme was conducted for two days commenced on 02 February 2016.
