SLAF Celebrates 65th Anniversary
The 65th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force was celebrated on 02 March 2016 by all SLAF establishments.
The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala, addressed the parade held at AFHQ premises and extended his best wishes to all members of the Air Force on it's 65th Anniversary. The Commander thanked all members past and present and their families for their contribution towards enabling the Air Force to reach the heights it has achieved.
Sports activities and an all-ranks lunch was held at the Rifle green grounds, Air Force station Colombo with the participation of the Commander. Air Force board of management, commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo Air Commodore Prasanna Payoe, senior officers and all personnel.
