A six member delegation led by Lieutenant General (AF) Yu Zhongfy, the Political Commissar of the Chinese PLA Air Force called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala, this morning (21 March 2016) at the Air Force Headquarters Colombo.

On their arrival to AFHQ, they were received by Chief of Staff of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal CR Gurusinghe. Subsequently the delegation attended a briefing at the AFHQ Auditorium, conducted by Group Captain Lasitha Sumanaweera, on the history, capabilities, achievements and future challenges of the Sir Lanka Air Force followed by an interactive Q&A session.

On conclusion, Mementos were exchanged between the visiting  Lieutenant General  and Commander of the SLAF to mark this special occasion.
