“Yovun Pura” Inagurates at SLAF Sigiriya premises
The “Yovun Pura” Youth camp themed “Future Begins” organised by the National Youth Services Council (NYSC) began at the premises of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Sigiriya with the participation of 5,000 youths on 30 March 2016.
SLAF Station Sigiriya provides its premises to hold the youth camp, other infrastructure and administrative support to make the event a success. Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala visited SLAF Station Sigiriya on 29th March 16 to check the progress of the SLAF role.
Senior Staff Officer Ground Defence Operations Air Commodore Nishen Abeysinghe, Commanding Officer Group Captain Harsha Jayathilake, a team of Officers, Other ranks and civilian staff of the SLAF Station Sigiriya are supporting to make this event a success.
