No 8 Squadron Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Formation day of No 8 Squadron SLAF Base Ratmalana was held on 01st April 2016 at the Hangar premises.
The parade was reviewed by the the Commanding officer, Wing Commander KAPS Kuruwita was witnessed by all ranks and the civil staff of the Squadron. The Commanding Officer of the No 8 Squadron addressed the parade and expressed his best wishes to all squadron personnel and commended their utmost contribution on uplifting the standards of No 8 Squadron at the level it has achieved to date.
The celebration concluded with a traditional Elle tournament with the participation of all ranks and civil staff of the Squadron at the Base sports ground.
The Base Commander, COs and OCs of all lodger formations at SLAF Base Ratmalana graced this remarkable occasion.
