Felicitation for GCE O/L Students Performed Well and Children of ‘Disabled In Action’ Personnel
The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit organized a programme to felicitate the students who performed extremely well at the GCE O/L during the year 2015 and children of DIA personnel today (05th May 16).
United Motors Lanka PLC jointly sponsored this programme held at the AFHQ Auditorium under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala.
Nine (09) students who obtained nine “A” s in G.C.E. O/L and Fifty (50) students of DIA personnel were selected and each individual was provided with a financial grant by the Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) of the Sri Lanka Air Force and United Motors Lanka PLC.
The Commander of the Air Force and Chairperson of the SLAF SVU Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala congratulated and expressed their best wishes to students who excelled in the examination.
The Chief of Staff Air Vice Marshal CR Gurusinghe, Director Welfare Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando, Mr.Chanaka Yatawara (Group CEO/Executive Director of United Motors), members of United Motors Lanka PLC, members of SVU, and invited children and their parents participated for the occasion.
