Annual AOC’s Inspection at SLAF Station Ampara
The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Station Ampara today (07 may 2016).
Commanding Officer, Group Captain WWPD Fernando received the Commander on his arrival through a street lining of airmen commanded by Flying Office RMHR Rathnayake.
During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the Station. On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks of the Station and appreciated their hard work, dedication and standard they have achieved. The Commander encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals to uplift the standard of the Station during next year.
The Commander awarded commendations to 25988 Sergeant Abeysekara PEAB (PTI), 24244 Corporal Gunathilaka RDUN (Ops Grd), 25551 Corporal Samantha Kumara (Ops Grd), 020073 LAC Sandamal DGR (Ops Grd), 024265 LAC Rathnayake KADJSK (Ops Grd), and Mr. B Nishantha Perera (Labour III) for their meritorious contribution for the betterment of the SLAF.
