Annual AOC’s Inspection at SLAF Station Sigiriya
The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Station Sigiriya today (13 may 2016).
Commanding Officer, Group Captain LHN Jayatilake received the Commander on his arrival through a street lining of airmen commanded by Flight Lieutenant NP Nonis.
During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the Station. On conclusion of the inspection, Commander addressed all ranks of the Station and appreciated their hard work, dedication and standard they have achieved. Commander encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals to uplift the standard of the Station during next year.
The Commander awarded commendations to 16534 Warrant Officer BAP Jayawardane (Eng. Fitter), 21721 Corporal Dissanayake DMR (Ops Grd II) and R06667 Corporal Chandrasena A (Ops Grd II) for their meritorious contribution for the betterment of the SLAF.
