The ABA Novices Boxing Meet 2016 was conducted at the Royal MAS Arena, Royal Collage, Colombo from 10 May 16 to 14 May 16.

SLAF men's and women's boxers bagged 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 5 Bronze medals at the tournament.

VAW/ 01835 Leading Air Craftswomen Pasyala PAHC of SLAF Boxing was announced as the Best Boxer in the Women category respectively.
