SLAF Flood Relief Operations on 22 May 2016

Sri Lanka Air Force is continuing rescue operations and relief aid missions to victims in flood affected areas.

SLAF Bell 212 helicopter carried out a reconnaissance mission at 0600 hrs today.

SLAF has completed 4 Beech 200 aircraft missions, 25 Bell 212 missions, 9 Bell 412 missions and 11 Mi 17 missions up to now since 16th May 2016 to dispatch goods immediately to the flood relief centres at non accessible areas and people in trapped locations.
