SLAF Station Mirigama and No 04 ADRS Celebrate 9th Anniversary
SLAF Station Mirigama and No 04 ADRS celebrated their 9th anniversary on 1st June 2016.
A series of events commenced on 28th May 2016 under the supervision and guidance of Commanding Officer Gp Capt OANS Fernando which included a medical camp held at Kithulwala village providing free medical, dental screening and medicine for the people living around the camp area.
Special program was arranged on 30th May 2016 and 1st June 2016 to clean surrounding and to spend time with differently able children at “Our Children” school at Bothale, Ambepussa with religious activities, entertainment program, distribution of dry rations and a gift packs for children.
Anniversary day working parade was held on 01st June 2016 and was reviewed by the Commanding Officer Group Captain OANS Fernando. Celebrations concluded with a friendly soft ball cricket tournament.
