Annual AOC’s Inspection at SLAF Station Morawewa
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala conducted the AOC’s inspection of SLAF Station Morawewa today (09 June 2016).
Commanding Officer, SLAF Station Morawewa, Wing Commander CRD Gunawardane welcomed the Commander with a street lining. During the inspection, Commander inspected the camp premises and also declared open the newly constructed Computer lab, Corporal's Social Club, Firing Range and Canteen.
The Commander handed over a newly constructed house for a villager. Man power for the construction was provided by SLAF Station Morawewa.
On successful completion of the AOC’s inspection the Commander addressed all Officers and Airman of the Station. Certificates of commendation awarded to following personnel in appreciation of exceptional service rendered towards development of the SLAF.
