CEW at SLAF Base Katunayake Celebrates its’ 13th Anniversary

The Civil Engineering Wing(CEW) SLAF Base Katunayake, celebrates its’ 13th anniversary on 13th June 2016.

A blood donation campaign was organized at the SLAF Base hospital Katunayake in collaboration with the General Hospital Negambo on 09th June 2016 as a part of the 13th Anniversary. A total of 130 donors voluntarily participated in this worthily event.

CEW organized a cricket match with the participation of all Officers, Airmen and Civilian Staff of the wing under the guidance of Commanding Officer Wing Commander MBCD Muthuthanthri.

The Civil Engineering Wing is presently consisting of 17 Civil Engineering officers and 1429 airmen trained under various discipline in the field of Civil Engineering and empowered to undertake all the major construction and rehabilitation in the SLAF.
