A newly built house was donated to the war hero Leading Aircraftman Rajapaksha RDKN (19623) under the "Anula Fernando Housing Project" launched by Seva Vanitha Unit of  the Sri Lanka Air Force today.

He sustained injuries on 28th September 1997 in a land mine explosion whilst serving at SLAF Puliyankulam. The house was handed over by the Chairperson of  the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Nelun Goonetileke on 31st March 2010.

 The executive committee of Seva Vanitha Unit and the relatives of the war hero were present at the occasion.



Incidently this the 11th house constructed by the SLAF SVU through the "Anula Fernando" housing project.
