State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene pushed the button to light up the historic Mihintale Raja Maha Vihara at the Lake House Mihintale Aloka Puja held to mark Poson Poya. The Aloka Puja was held for the second day yesterday (20 June 2016).

Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala together with Mrs Samanthi Bulathsinghala and several other distinguished guests witnessed the occasion.

SLAF members contributed in painting of the "Mihinthala Maha Seya" and actively participated at the "Kapruk Poojawa".
