SLAF Base Ratmalana Promotes the Importance of a “Happy Family”
SLAF Base Ratmalana organized a lecture on “Happy Family- the Inspiration of life” for all Officers and spouses of the SLAF Base Ratmalana on 25th June 2016.
With the direction of the the Commander of the Air Force, this lecture was organised to emphasize the fact that, “Family” is the central point of the human existence, which remained unchanged from the very primary tribal stage. Also a family to be a “happy family” with three key attributes; love, fun and discipline. A healthy family maintains a healthy “balance” in four vital dimensions of life; physical, psychological, social and spiritual wellbeing.
The session was very fruitfully conducted by Mr. Prasanna Jayatilake ((BSc(SL), MSc(UK), MA(SL), PGDC, Dip. Psy, HCGC, MIPC), Psychologist/Consultant Counsellor.
The Director Health Services Air Commodore Lalith Jayaweera, the Base Commander Air Commodore Sudarshana Pathirana, Commanding Officer SLAF Base Hospital Ratmalana Wing Commander Vasantha Padmaperuma, Commanding Officer SLAF Museum Group Captain Nihal Jayasinghe, Commanding Officer ASW Group Captain Kithsiri Leelarathne, married Officers and their spouses participated for the programme.
