No 07-16 Water and Jungle Survival Training for Aircrew Concluded

The Jungle Survival phase of the No 07-16 Aircrew Water and Jungle Survival Training Programme concluded on 16 July 2016 at SLAF Station Ampara. 

Previously, the Water Survival training phase of this Programme was completed on 05th July 2016.

The aim of this exercise is to enhance the knowledge and skills of Aircrew, to survive in actual crash/ force landing/ ejection above water or over a jungle area and to give practical experience in survival.

Total of 21 aircrew and 06 Instructors took part in this Training programme.

 

Sri Lanka Air Force, is the only aerial arm among the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, responsible for defending the nation's airspace and supporting its sister services for all kind of operations.
