SLAF Women’s Volleyball Team emerged champions beating SL Army in the finals at 09th Defence Services Volleyball Championship 2016 concluded at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Army Camp Ambepussa on 01 August 2016.

This was the 5th consecutive Defence Services Volleyball Championship bagged by the SLAF Women’s Volleyball Team.

Chairman of Army Volleyball Committee Major General MHSB Perera graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Chairman of the SLAF Volleyball Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage, Officers and other ranks of tri forces also witnessed the finals.
