The SLAF Parachuting Team emerged champions at the 9th Defence Services Parachuting Championship 2016 bagging gold medal for the Skydiving event held at Sri Lanka Army Cantonment, Panagoda from 12 to 15 Aug 16.

The Commander Security Forces (West) Maj Gen Sudantha Ranasinghe graced the award ceremony held at the Muthukumaru Cricket Ground.

Chairman SLAF Parachuting Gp Capt C Wickramaratne, Senior Officers and other ranks from tri forces witnessed the closing ceremony entertained by spectacular display of parachuting.
