State Minister of Defence Visits SLAF Station Katukurunda
State Minister of Defence Hon. Ruwan Wijewardane along with Secretary to Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi visited Sri Lanka Air Force Station Katukurunda today (26 August 2016).
He was received by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghla to the camp premises.
The State Minister of Defence inspected the progress and witnessed the improvements of the indigenous UAV R&D project conducted at the UAV Research Centre.
Members from the SLAF Board of Management, Officers and other ranks also present at the occasion.
