A Delegation from Indian Air Force Visits AFHQ

A three member official training delegation led by Air Vice Marshal Amith Tiwari, Assistant Chief of the Air Staff (Training) of the Indian Air Force visited the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters today (29 August 2016).
 
On their arrival to Air Force Headquarters, they were received by Air Vice Marshal Vijitha Gunaratne, the Director Training of the Sri Lanka Air Force. The visiting deligation called on the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Ranil Gurusinghe.

Subsequently, an interactive discussion was held on the matters pertaining to training setup between two Air Forces.

On conclusion, symbolic mementos were exchanged among the delegation and the Air Force to mark the event.
 

Sri Lanka Air Force, is the only aerial arm among the Sri Lanka Armed Forces, responsible for defending the nation's airspace and supporting its sister services for all kind of operations.
