Annual Commander's Inspection at SLAF Base Ratmalana 2016
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy, conducted the annual AOC's inspection at SLAF Base Ratmalana today (26 September 2016).
The Commander reviewed the AOC’s parade, commanded by the Base Commander, Air Commodore Sudarshana Pathirana. Certificates of commendation were awarded during the parade for meritorious contributions to the Base in particular and to the Air Force in general to the following personnel:

During the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas of the Base and declared open the newly constructed officer's living in block.
Concluding the AOC’s inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks including the civilian personnel and commended their hard work to uplift the standards of the Base. He emphasized the need to contribute their best to the Air Force as well as to the motherland at all times.
