SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Celebrates World Children's Day
In commemoration of World Children’s Day, a special programme for children was held on 01 October 2016 at the Air Force Museum at Ratmalana, under the distinguished patronage of Commander of the Air Force, Air marshal Kapila Jayampathy and the Chairperson of the SLAF SVU Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy.
More than 250 children attended this event organized by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit. A number of entertainment activities, an Air Dog show were conducted for the enjoyment of the children who attended the event.
The members of the SVU, children who represented other Academy/Bases/ Stations, Base Commander SLAF Base Ratmalana Air Cdre Sudarshana Pathitrana, Officers of the Base and Airmen also witnessed the event.
