Gifts for Children of SLAF
In keeping with a concept of assisting the children of SLAF personnel, the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit distributed the gifts (Toy and Story book) for Children of SLAF personnel on today (27 October 2016) at the Seva Vanitha Unit AFHQ Colombo under the patronage of Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy. The Chairperson emblematically handed over the gifts to Officer In-charge Seva Vanitha Unit of few SLAF establishments at the distribution ceremony.
These academic gifts were donated by the well-wishers at New Zealand to the SLAF SVU and the Unit made arrangements to distribute these gifts for all the children of SLAF below 10 years age as per the guidance of Chairperson.
In addition to the above ceremony, Chairperson also granted five (05) housing Loans to SLAF personnel based on their requests forwarded to the SLAF SVU.
The Air secretary Gp. Capt. Udeni Rajapaksha and office bearers of SVU were also presented on the occasion.
