Aviation Fundamentals for Beginners-December 2016 Session Concluded

The 45th  session of the “Aviation Fundamentals for Beginners” Course conducted at the Air Force Museum, Ratmalana concluded successfully on the 07th  of December 2016.

A total of five three-day programmes were organized and conducted during the month of December  2016 by the Air Force Museum during the school holidays.  School children from Grade 6-11 participated in this programme with great enthusiasm. Each batch consisting of 60 participants were educated on the basics of an aircraft through lectures, practical demonstrations and visits to aircraft workshops.

Participants were awarded with the membership of the “Young Aviators Club”. These children are encouraged to engage in frequent programmes offered by the Air Force Museum to gain knowledge in the field of aviation.
