SLAF Station Colombo Celebrate Vesak
Personnel of Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo celebrated 'Vesak Full moon' yesterday (27 May 2010) religious and traditional activities.
A "Dharma Deshana was held at station premises and members of the Warrant officers and SNCO's mess released 06 Calfs from a slaughter house.
In the evening a Vesak Lantern making and display competition was held at the Riffle Green Grounds under the patronage of Commanding Officer SLAF Station, Group Captain Nishantha Dharmadasa. The competition was won by the personnel of Colombo security Sector III.
