Handing over of 22nd ‘Guwan Lak Sevana’ House
A new house constructed under the "Guwan Lak Sevana” Housing Project launched by Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to R/11795 Cpl Wijerathne RD (Admin Asst). The house warming ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy at Pilessa on 21 December 2017.
This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing and SLAF Trade Training School (TTS) Ekala. Overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.
Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy, Commanding Officer SLAF TTS Ekala Group Captain Jude Perera, Officers, other ranks and representatives from SVU were also present at the ceremony.
