Gifts for Students Who Performed Well at Grade 5 Scholarship Examinations and G.C.E. A/L Examinations 2017
In keeping with a concept of recognizing academic achievements of children of SLAF personnel and civilians employed in the SLAF, the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) organized a programme to felicitate students who performed extremely well at the Grade 5 Scholarship Examinations and G.C.E. A/L Examinations of the year 2017.
The programme was held at AFHQ Auditorium under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy and Chairperson of the SLAF SVU Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy on 02 February 2018.
Hundred and Twenty Nine (129) students who obtained high marks between 200 to 175 at Grade 5 examinations-2017 and Two (02) students who obtained three “A” s in G.C.E. A/L examinations-2017 were selected. Each individual was provided with a financial grant by the Seva Vanitha Unit.
The Commander of the Air Force and Chairperson of the SLAF SVU congratulated and expressed their best wishes to students who succeeded in their examinations, during the ceremony.
