Inaugural House Warming Ceremony of 'Commander’s Housing Project'
The first house constructed under the "Commander’s Housing Project” by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was handed over to Sgt Wijewadena HM (Ops Grd III). The House Warming Ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy and the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Anoma Jayampathy at Dompe on 06 March 2018.
This project was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing and SLAF Trade Training School (TTS) Ekala. Overall project was completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.
Commanding Officer SLAF TTS Ekala Group Captain Jude Perera, Officers, other ranks and representatives from SVU were also present at the ceremony.
