In line with 68th Anniversary of the Air Force, SLAF Station Batticaloa was entrusted the task of renovating the Puthur Vigneswara Vidyalaya as a Community Service Project. The project was successfully completed on the 24th of February 2019.

 The Principal, Teachers, Students and their Parents expressed their gratitude to the SLAF by organizing a felicitation ceremony on 26th February 2019. The Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Sanjaya Vithana, Officers and Other ranks of SLAF Station Batticaloa participated for the felicitation ceremony.
