Commander's Inspections for 2019 Commence with SLAF Station, Palaly
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy commenced Commander’s Inspections for the year 2019 today (14 March 2019), with the inspection of SLAF Station Palaly.
The Commander was received by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain SD Jayaweera and was accorded a guard of honour.
The Inspection commenced with the new Station Headquarters building being declared open by the Commander. Thereafter, during the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas of the station. In conclusion the Commander addressed all ranks of the Station and commended them on the high standards maintained and encouraged them to strive for even higher levels.
The Commander’s Inspection was concluded with the customary All Ranks Lunch held at the Airmens’ and Airwomens’ Mess.
