Commander’s Inspection of SLAF Station Batticaloa
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Commander’s Inspection of SLAF Station Batticaloa today (10 May 2019). The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander WKASW Vithana and awarded a Ceremonial Street Lining.
During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the Station.
The Commander awarded commendations to Leading Aircraftman Chathuranga KS (Electrician), Leading Aircraftman Jayakody JDBD (Mechanical Technician) and Mr L Palu (Civilian Cook) for their meritorious contribution towards the betterment of the SLAF.
On conclusion and during the customary address for the Officers, Airmen and the Civilian staff, the Commander appreciated their hard work and dedication towards the betterment of the Station. The Commander encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals to uplift the standards of the Station.
