A new two storied building was constructed by the Sri Lanka Air Force for the Vigneswara Maha Vidyalam in Kuppilan, Jaffna. The project was funded by the Secretariat for Coordinating Reconciliation Mechanisms (SCRM).

The project commenced construction on the 12th of November 2018. The opening ceremony of the new building was held under the patronage of the Secretary General of the Secretariat for Coordinating Reconciliation Mechanisms, Mr. Mano Tittawella on 2nd June 2019. Officials of the SLAF also participated for the ceremony.
