The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne today (17 June 2019). This is the first official call on the Chief of Defence Staff by Air Marshal Dias upon assuming command of the Sri Lanka Air Force as its 17th Commander.

After a cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest, mementos were exchanged between the Chief of Defence Staff and the Commander of the Air Force to mark the occasion.
