Membership badges for newly enlisted Air Scouts and other Air Scout promotion badges were awarded on 27th July 2019 at a ceremony held at SLAF Base Ratmalana.

Chairman of SLAF Air Scout Group, Group Captain Paminda Jayawardena attended as the Chief Guest while the Moratuwa - Piliyandala District Scout Commissioner, Mr. Prabath Jayalath also witnessed the occasion. Treasure SLAF Air Scout Group, Group Captain ES Ponnamperuma, Group Scout Master (Rathmalana), Wing Commander DP Wasana Wimalawardena and other Air Scout Masters of the SLAF also attended to the Badge Awarding Ceremony.
