SLAF Station Morawewa celebrates it’s 46th Anniversary
An almsgiving for the Rewatha Children Orphanage was conducted yesterday (29th July 2019) to mark the 46th anniversary of SLAF Station Morawewa and the 16th anniversary of the Regiment Special Force of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
Many essential items including rations, clothes and stationary items for the use of the children were donated. Further, a Bana Program was also conducted by Ven. Ralapanawe Dammakiththi Thero during the session.
An All Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony was held on the same day at the Station premises with the participation of the Acting Commanding Officer Wing Commander HMT Nandaka Kumara, all Officers, Other Ranks and civil staff of the Station.
