The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit was held today (02nd August 2019) at the AFHQ Auditorium. The AGM was chaired by the Chairperson of the Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU), Mrs. Prabhavi Dias and was attended by Seva Vanitha spouses of members of the Air Force Board of Management, Presidents and the Officers in Charge of SLAF Academy, Bases and Stations together with coordinators of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.

The event commenced with the singing of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Anthem followed by the welcome address by the Chairperson Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Prabhavi Dias. This was followed by the reading of minutes of the previous AGM by the Secretary SVU, Squadron Leader Piuymi Jayasundara. Thereafter, the Treasurer SVU, Squadron Leader Chamith Ilankoon read the accounts pertaining to the year 2018. Further presentations were conducted on the events carried out by the SLAF SVU at Academy, Base and Station levels during the year 2018.
