In commemoration of International Day of Charity a Coconut Planting Awareness Programme and distribution of high quality coconut plants to villagers of Kithulwala area was conducted by the Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Station Mirigama in collaboration with Silver Mill (Pvt) Ltd, Mirigama yesterday (5 September 2019).

200 high Quality hybrid coconut plants were distributed among 75 low income families.

The Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Mirigama, Wing Commander NK Thanippuliarachchi, Chief Operations Officer of Silver Mill (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Dinesh Silva, Officers and members of the Mirigama Seva Vanitha Unit were also present at this event.
