SLAF Women’s Wing Conducts 5th 'Women’s Rights' Awareness Programme

Sri Lanka Air Force Women’s Wing together with the Command Legal Department organized a series of programmes on 'Women’s Rights' in order to educate serving women of the Sri Lanka Air Force on rights of women. This was the 5th programme and was conducted at SLAF Base Hingurakgoda on 18 October 2019 with the participation of more than 120 Lady Officers and Airwomen from SLAF Base Hingurakgoda, SLAF Base Vavuniya, SLAF Base Anuradhapura and SLAF Station Sigiriya.

The guest lecturer was Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ms. Bimshani Jasinarachchi representing the Director of Bureau for the Prevention of Abuse of Children and Women of the Sri Lanka Police. Staff Officer Women’s Wing, Wing Commander EMCG Ekanayake coordinated the programme.
