Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sumangala Dias, this morning (6 February 2020) at Air Force Headquarters.

The Chief of the Air Staff was received upon arrival by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo, Air Vice Marshal CB Labrooy and was accorded a Guard of Honour by the Colour Wing of the SLAF.

Air Chief Marshal Khan met with the Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana and members of the Air Force Board of Management after which official plaques were exchanged to mark the historical occasion.

The visiting Air Chief also participated for a briefing on the capabilities and operational aspects of the SLAF which was delivered by the Director of Air Operations, Air Vice Marshal Ravi Jayasinghe at the AFHQ Auditorium. Members of the visiting delegation, members of the AFBM and Senior Officers of AFHQ attended for this briefing.  The visiting Air Chief speaking at the occasion expressed his pleasure at the hospitality extended towards him and stated that there is an exciting future in store for PAF and SLAF relations.
