No 1 Information Technology Wing at Ratmalana celebrates the 7th Anniversary
No 1 Information Technology Wing at SLAF Base Ratmalana celebrated its 7th anniversary today (11 March 2020). The celebration included community service activities, religious activities and entertainment activities.
As a prominent initiation for the celebration an educational tour was conducted at the Air Force Museum Ratmalana for the children of the Dharmachakra Balika Lama Sanwardana Madyasthanaya on 7 March 2020. In addition to this a Bana Sermon and a Bhodi Pooja was conducted at the Ashokaramaya Temple premises yesterday (10 March 2020) to invoke blessings on all the personnel of the No 1 IT Wing, their families and for all its future endeavors.
The customary Working Parade was held today under the purview of the Commanding Officer, Squadron Leader KDC Krishantha. The celebrations culminated with an Inter Section Cricket Tournament also held today.
