Community Service Project by SLAF Base Hingurakgoda
A newly built house was handed over to Mr. Benedict Silva and his family by SLAF Base Hingurakgoda on 4 July 20.
This housing project was funded by the Command Welfare Fund and Station Institute Fund of SLAF Base Hingurakgoda with materiel assistance from the Rajarata Nawodaya Project. The construction was carried out by the personnel from Civil Engineering Wing at Katunayake under the coordination of the Works Squadron SLAF Base Hingurakgoda.

The house is completed three bedroom house is equipped with all amenities including proper sanitary facilities and common utilities.
The house warming ceremony was held under the patronage of the Base Commander SLAF Base Hingurakgoda, Group Captain Dhammika Dias. Senior Officers along with a cross section of Other Rankers from the SLAF Base Hingurakgoda were present for the ceremony.
