SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Conducts a House Warming Ceremonies

The houses constructed by the Sri Lanka Air Force Seva Vanitha Unit were handed over at Badulla, Nakiyadeniya (Galle) and Akkurassa on 29 October 2020. The house built at Badulla was handed over to Leading Air Craftsman Sampath Kumara HMP (Disable). The House Warming Ceremony was held under the participation of the Commanding Officer No 30 Regiment Wing at Diyatalawa, Wing Commander MGWR Menuwara.

Two houses constructed Nakiyadeniya (Galle) and Akkurassa were handed over to Saragent Padmakumara BGT and Sargent Wijesekara AD respectively. The House Warming Ceremonies were held under the participation of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Koggala, Group Captain Manoj Galappaththi.

These projects was funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and construction was carried out by Civil Engineering Troops at SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa and SLAF Station Koggala. The overall projects were completed under the supervision of the Directorate of Civil Engineering.

Officers, other ranks and representatives from SVU were also present for the ceremonies.
