SLAF STATION KATUKURUNDA CELEBRATES 36TH ANNIVERSARY
SLAF Station Katukurunda proudly celebrated its 36th anniversary under the auspices of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain VGGB Piyasiri on 16 November 2020.
The Celebration commenced with a Tree Plantation campaign at the Station premises with the participation of Commanding Officer, All Officers, Other Ranks and Civilians.
A Blood Donation Campaign was also held at Station Medical Center with the assistance at the Staff of District General Hospital Kalutara in order to cater for blood product requirements of the National Blood Transfusion Service during the prevailing situation in the country. Further, 47 service personnel from SLAF Station Katukurunda voluntarily donated their blood during the above programme.
The Formation day celebrations were concluded with an All Ranks Lunch.
